We love the classic white kitchen and the way the gorgeous shaker style complements this colonial features on this house. The new connection between indoors and outdoors, between kitchen and BBQ area, between living and deck changed the way this family lived in their home.

This is what we started with: a beautiful but small house in need of new life! We needed to improve functionality and storage, while maintaining the period features.

The old kitchen didn’t have enough storage and it was begging for some natural light…

… and this family desperately needed a deck to connect their house with this gorgeous back yard.

This kitchen features Atlantic Stone granite benchtops both inside and out in the BBQ area. Granite can safely be used in outdoor spaces as it won’t stain or fade.
Storage options were improved with the addition of these slim line cabinets clad in VJ to match the rest of the house.
Older houses often feature internal bedrooms and we improved this one with the addition of a solar powered, openable Velux skylight. It has a remote control and automatically closes when it senses rain.
